Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ping Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in the Ping Identity platform, including PingOne DaVinci, to design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SSO, MFA, identity federation, authentication, authorization, and identity orchestration, along with strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, REST APIs, and SCIM.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, configure, and support Ping Identity solutions, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, PingDirectory, PingOne, and PingOne DaVinci.
  • Develop and manage PingOne DaVinci identity orchestration workflows for authentication, user registration, MFA, account recovery, and user lifecycle processes.
  • Integrate PingOne DaVinci with PingFederate, PingID, Active Directory/Entra ID, REST APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity federation.
  • Integrate enterprise applications using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, and SCIM.
  • Configure authentication policies, access management, and user provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, federation, and integration issues.
  • Work closely with application, security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver IAM integrations.
  • Perform upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and performance tuning of Ping Identity components.
  • Develop automation and operational scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Java.
  • Support IAM integrations through REST APIs and JSON-based services.
  • Ensure IAM implementations follow organizational security policies and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • PingFederate
    • PingAccess
    • PingID
    • PingDirectory
    • PingOne
    • PingOne DaVinci – required
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing PingOne DaVinci orchestration workflows and authentication flows.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SAML 2.0
    • OAuth 2.0
    • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
    • LDAP
    • JWT
    • SCIM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ping Identity certifications.
  • Experience with other IAM platforms such as Okta, ForgeRock, or SailPoint.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
  • Experience working in large enterprise IAM environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Ping Engineer who can independently support and troubleshoot Ping Identity environments and has practical experience with PingOne DaVinci orchestration. The candidate should be comfortable working with application, security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver secure and reliable IAM solutions.
