FOIA Consultant

This is a Full-Time (W2) Remote Position supporting a Large Government Consulting Firm. An Active Government Clearance (Public Trust or Higher) is required for this position. Full benefits, PTO, and paid holidays is inclusive to this position.

Contract Term: 2 Months with a 1 Year Extension

Salary Target: $50K-$70K/YR (Salary is flexible based on the relative professional experience and background related to the position)

Requirements: ship Work Authorization Status; Active Government Clearance (Public Trust or Higher); 3+ years of FOIA Administration including FOIA request intake administration

Job Description:

• Three (3) years of experience processing Freedom of Information Act

  (FOIA) requests.

• Ability to work independently.

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of FOIA rules and regulations.

• Experience redacting records with trade secret and confidential

  commercial information.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively

  interact with regulated industry, requesters, etc., to effectively

  process FOIA requests.

• Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively interact with

  regulated industry, requesters, etc., to effectively process FOIA

  requests.

• Knowledge of FDA laws, regulations, and procedures and application

  to the FDA records.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  information.
