Data Integration Architect Hybrid - 1 day per week in various locations in the South i.e. London, Bristol £640 per day inside IR35 6 month contract Active SC clearance Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer or Solution Architect with expertise in HVR and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)?

We're looking for a specialist to play a key role in delivering a secure, cloud-based data integration solution for a high-profile government programme.

Working within a secure environment, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing an HVR-based data replication solution, enabling the migration of legacy Oracle data feeds into a modern Oracle Cloud Infrastructure landing zone.

This is an opportunity to work on a complex, business-critical programme with a strong focus on cloud architecture, data integration and security. The Role You'll be responsible for designing and delivering a secure HVR integration capability, ensuring data can be replicated reliably from legacy Oracle environments into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Working closely with architects, engineers and key stakeholders, you'll help establish a production-ready landing zone that forms the foundation for future data migration and transformation.

Key Responsibilities Design and deliver an HVR-based data integration architecture within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.<br />Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).<br />Configure and deploy HVR target agents within OCI.<br />Support the design of secure OCI landing zones, including storage, databases and networking.<br />Analyse data volumes, retention requirements and capacity planning.<br />Develop infrastructure, storage and licensing forecasts.<br />Support governance and security approval processes.<br />Assist with network connectivity and infrastructure changes.<br />Oversee system testing and integration activities.<br />Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Essential Skills &amp; Experience Strong commercial experience with HVR (High Volume Replication) or similar enterprise data replication technologies.<br />Proven experience designing cloud-based data integration solutions.<br />Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).<br />Experience designing data landing zones and ingestion pipelines.<br />Knowledge of secure data transfer, encryption and networking principles.<br />Experience producing technical architecture documentation (HLDs &amp; LLDs).<br />Strong understanding of data storage, lifecycle management and data modelling.<br />Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical communication skills.<br />Experience working within highly regulated or secure environments.<br />Active SC Clearance is essential.

Desirable Experience Experience within Defence, Government or MOD environments.<br />Knowledge of Secure by Design (SbD), DEAB and MOD security governance.<br />Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, OCI Object Storage and OCI Networking.<br />Experience with Oracle Data Integration or Oracle AI Data Platform.<br />Experience delivering large-scale cloud migration or data transformation programmes.<br />Previous experience working alongside defence delivery partners
