Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

About the Role<br />Multi Trades Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer on behalf of a leading HVAC and ventilation specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing installation team delivering high-quality air conditioning and ventilation solutions across commercial, domestic, and retail projects.<br />This role is based across Coventry, Northampton &amp; Milton Keynes, with travel required across London &amp; reading from time to time.<br />Key Responsibilities<br />Install and commission air conditioning systems including split, VRF, and ducted systems<br />Install mechanical ventilation systems across domestic, commercial, and retail properties<br />Carry out system testing, balancing, and commissioning, producing certificates and handover documentation<br />Diagnose faults and carry out repairs when required<br />Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals<br />Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to meet deadlines<br />Maintain accurate records including timesheets and completion paperwork<br />Ensure full compliance with health &amp; safety regulations and CDM requirements<br />Provide professional on-site client interaction, including system demonstrations and handovers<br />Requirements

• C&amp;G Level 2 F-Gas (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing air conditioning and ventilation systems
• Experience across commercial or large domestic installations
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Right to work in the UK<br />Desirable (Not Essential)
• City &amp; Guilds Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Experience with VRF systems, AHUs, and commercial ventilation
• Strong ductwork and sheet metal installation skills
• Experience with commissioning, airflow balancing, and fault-finding
• IPAF, PASMA, or working-at-height certifications
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS or asbestos awareness training
• Basic electrical competency (18th/19th Edition knowledge or similar)<br />Personal Attributes
