Technical Architect – Banking and Financial Services<br />Location: Remote<br />£550-£650pd (Outside IR35)<br />Initially 6 Months Position Overview:<br />Our client is in search of a Technical Architect with extensive expertise in the Banking and Financial Services technology landscape. This is a high-impact role where you will work within parameters set by government standards and regulations to deliver robust technology solutions. Primary

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement frameworks that adhere to Open Banking standards and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) as well as the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).<br />Collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy effective solutions, including Product Accounting, Risk Management Engines, and Financial Crime Analytics systems.<br />Demonstrate a solid understanding of microservices architecture, API integration, and associated technological patterns, with a focus on Payment Initiation Services compatibility across payment systems like BACS, SEPA, and Faster Payments.<br />Manage diverse technology stacks, spanning legacy and contemporary systems, infrastructure components, and security protocols such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust.<br />Utilise expertise in tools like Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins CI, Maven, SonarQube, Docker Hub, Argo CD, and Helm for seamless system deployment and management.<br />Harness platforms such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Terraform Cloud, and GitHub to optimise operational workflows
