Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a cyber-related discipline, such as network engineering, computer science, information systems, software engineering, programming, or a related field. • Seven years of technical experience in cyber defense or cybersecurity-related fields, such as engineering, networking, systems integration, solutions development, cyber operations, or mission support, including at least two years in a supervisory role. • Seven years of professional technical experience; these years may overlap with the experience described above. • Professional experience or demonstrated understanding in at least three of the following areas:

  • Containerized or virtualized environments, such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, or AWS; In-band and out-of-band network access points used for traffic collection and aggregation, such as Gigamon; Data-storage solutions, such as NFS, distributed storage, or Ceph; Data-analysis toolsets, such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, or Splunk; Agile frameworks for software or capability development; Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat or Kali; Windows operating systems; Network infrastructure and data flows; Security applications, such as Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response, Security Information and Event Management, or Intrusion Detection Systems. • Ability to understand technical cyber-defense concepts and communicate their operational implications to mission planners, senior leaders, and nontechnical stakeholders. • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to satisfy applicable Special Access Program access requirements. • Ability to work on site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as required by the position and mission.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting space mission systems, SAP integration, cyber operations, organizational design, S9 staff experience, force design, studies and analysis, lessons learned, and senior stakeholder engagement. • Ability to develop clear process documentation, governance recommendations, briefing materials, and decision-support products. • Ability to interface with U.S. Space Force leadership, operational and acquisition communities, and government, FFRDC, and contractor partners.
