Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Implement and support ServiceNow ITSM, Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and Script Includes.
  • Build and customize Service Portals and Employee Service Center (ESC).
  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services.
  • Create and maintain custom applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio.
  • Design and implement automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching activities, and new feature adoption.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Catalog.
  • Experience with REST API and SOAP-based integrations.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
  • Experience with ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or SecOps modules.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
