Summary: • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including algorithm development, software testing, requirements analysis, and database engineering. • Integrate software into new environments and coordinate system installation. • Apply mathematical models to design. • Lead software development teams. • Work with Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, AWS architecture, and Terraform. Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 14+ years • Total Compensation: $305k+ yearly Job Description: • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development. • Analyze user requirements, design, code, and debug new or existing software features. • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. • Develop and implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards. • Design and implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries. • Provide specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis. • Develop and execute test procedures for software components, reviewing and testing for adherence to design. • Resolve software problem reports and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. • Lead software development teams, overseeing project completion and performing quality contr ol on team products. • Utilize scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure design outcomes and consequences. • Confer with Systems Engineering and Hardware Engineering to derive software requirements and obtain project information. • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. • Apply expertise in AWS architecture and Terraform for developing robust software solutions.
