ServiceNow Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and implementation strategy.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead architecture and implementation across multiple ServiceNow modules including:
  • ITSM
  • ITOM
  • ITAM
  • CMDB
  • Service Catalog
  • HRSD
  • CSM
  • SecOps
  • SPM (PPM)
  • GRC/IRM
• Architect complex workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automation Engine.
• Design and implement enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, LDAP, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, and third-party applications.
• Develop platform governance, coding standards, security best practices, and architecture guidelines.
• Review technical designs, customizations, and implementations to ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices.
• Optimize CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM adoption.
• Lead upgrade planning, instance strategy, platform health assessments, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Provide architectural guidance for custom applications built on the ServiceNow App Engine.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, DevOps, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Mentor developers, administrators, and technical consultants.
• Conduct solution reviews, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and architecture workshops.
• Ensure platform performance, scalability, availability, compliance, and security.
• Support Agile/Scrum development methodologies and DevOps practices.
