Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and Internet network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and utilization to ensure optimal system uptime.
  • Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, and DNS services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 network-related incidents and connectivity issues.
  • Perform network hardware installation, upgrades, replacements, and maintenance.
  • Support network security initiatives by implementing cybersecurity best practices and assisting with threat mitigation.
  • Monitor network traffic, identify anomalies, and recommend performance improvements.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, architecture diagrams, inventory, and change records.
  • Assist in the design, deployment, and expansion of enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and field support teams on implementation and support activities.
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize network resources.
  • Provide technical guidance, user support, and training as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Network Administration.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • TCP/IP Networking
    • DHCP
    • DNS
    • Routers
    • Switches
    • Firewalls
    • VPN Connectivity
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise network monitoring and management tools.
  • Familiarity with network capacity planning and infrastructure design.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or government environments.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is a strong plus.
