Job Description

Manage and enhance AWS security services including Identity Center, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF, Cognito, IAM, SCPs, and Inspector.

Design and implement cloud security controls and compliance guardrails across multi-account AWS environments.

Conduct threat modelling, security assessments, and vulnerability management activities.

Embed application security practices into the software development lifecycle, including secure code reviews and remediation guidance.

Integrate security scanning, testing, and controls into CI/CD pipelines.

Support secure AWS IoT Core deployments and cloud-to-edge communications.

Contribute to incident response, investigations, and continuous security improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years' experience in cloud security, application security, or a related field.

Strong AWS security expertise, particularly in multi-account environments.

Experience with DevSecOps, SAST/DAST tools, threat modelling, and secure coding practices.

Knowledge of CloudFormation, AWS SAM, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

Familiarity with Python, Golang, or Rust.

AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or similar certifications are highly regarded.
