Freelance Civils Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Civils Project Manager to support the delivery of a live substation extension project based in North Ayrshire. Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day project delivery on a live substation environment
• Managing subcontractors, site teams, and programme performance
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinating civils and power-related activities across the project
• Liaising with client representatives, stakeholders, and supply chain partners
• Driving quality, compliance, and HSEQ standards throughout delivery Requirements
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within civils and/or power infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of substation or utility environments
• Civils and power sector experience highly desirable
• Experience working on live operational sites preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Valid SMSTS and CSCS certifications preferred Desirable
• Existing SPEN authorisations would be highly advantageous, although not essential Contract Details
