We are seeking a Senior Network and Firewall SME - combining deep technical expertise with outstanding customer support to design, deliver, and secure critical infrastructure.

As a key member of our delivery team, you'll take ownership of innovative network solutions that support complex, secure environments. Your work will be critical in ensuring we meet - and exceed - client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and operational leadership to engineers to drive successful project outcomes.
• Develop solutions, including High-level and Technical Detailed Designs.
• Own and drive solution delivery, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues.
• Align with Architectural, Operational, and Security objectives
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and knowledge base content
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec
• Provide engineering support where required.

• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance Mandatory

What will make you successful in this role?

• 5+ years of experience in network security architecture, design, and implementation
• Expertise in Cisco, HP, Fortinet, and Palo Alto network, firewall and security solutions
• Hands on experience with Cisco/Aruba switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, and both Windows and Linux environments
• Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Essential Eight strategies
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and cybersecurity best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Strong communication and teamwork skills - you'll be working closely with both clients and internal teams
