Role name : Google Cloud Platform FinOps Engineer
Location : Charlotte, NC- Hybrid 3 Days a week
Optimize backup retention
Develop Google Cloud Platform FinOps Agent for spend monitoring, cloud cost allocation and tagging strategies
FinOps optimization spanning compute rightsizing, storage consolidation, backup retention, and networking.
Work on pricing models, work on cost optimization.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services - Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage Buckets, Persistent Disks, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud functions, Cloud IAM and Cloud DN
Exp with agent deployments (defenders) on GCE and GKE
Exp with IAM for the Google Cloud Platform
Strong Google Cloud Platform Experience with big query skills
Strong platform engineering skills
Strong Terraform skills
