Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (6+ years' experience) to manage and optimize a mission-critical, hybrid enterprise environment. You will lead server administration, migrations, patching automation, and cross-functional production support.

Location: Richmond, VA 23219

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 2 days/week on-site after initial training)

Key Qualifications & Core Skills

• Windows Server & Hybrid Systems: Expertise in on-prem and cloud infrastructure, OS upgrades, and cloud migration execution.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong PowerShell scripting for administrative automation and experience with SCCM for patch management.
• Security & Vulnerability Remediation: Server hardening, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and fix deployment.
• Disaster Recovery & Backups: Oversight of enterprise backup operations, recovery strategies, and DR planning.
• Production Application Support: Hands-on server-level troubleshooting for applications built on .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Networking Foundations: Solid understanding of OSI model layers and network protocol behavior.

Bonus Points (Desired)

• Microsoft Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, etc.
• Networking Certifications: Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
