Senior SAP ABAP Developer - 26-19866

Job Description:
The Senior SAP ABAP Developer will serve as a core technical delivery resource for Phase 3 enhancements. This role is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of ABAP-based solutions across SAP S/4HANA, including custom interfaces, workflow enhancements, procurement transaction enhancements, and integration services connecting SAP to GEP and other external platforms. This position requires deep hands-on ABAP expertise combined with a strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA architecture and procurement business processes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Phase 3 SAP enhancements including custom programs, reports, forms, and workflows
• Build and maintain custom interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external applications including the GEP procurement platform
• Enhance procurement, invoicing, accounts payable, and supply chain transactions using Enhancement Framework, BADIs, and User Exits
• Develop OData services and REST APIs to support integration and reporting requirements
• Create and modify Adobe Forms and SmartForms for output and document generation
• Develop CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and Fiori app enablement
• Conduct code reviews, technical design documentation, and peer mentoring
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects identified during testing and post-go-live phases
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

 Requirement

•    8+ years SAP ABAP development 
•  SAP S/4HANA (mandatory); ECC experience acceptable in addition
• OData Services, REST APIs, RFC/BAPI-based integrations
•  CDS Views, ABAP Dictionary, Open SQL
• Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPscript
• Enhancement Framework, BADIs, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements
•  MM, FI/AP, or procurement module exposure preferred

Education:

• Bachelor''s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

 
Additional Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a SAP procurement or P2P implementation program (S/4HANA preferred)
• Familiarity with GEP SMART or equivalent procurement platforms
• SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development
• Experience supporting end-to-end testing cycles including SIT and UAT
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage directly with business stakeholders

Shift Hours: 8:00AM -5:00 PM EST
