RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client, a leading healthcare organization in New York, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Epic Research Implementation Consultant to play a key role in a large-scale clinical systems transformation initiative. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, lead complex Epic Research implementations, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to optimize workflows, system design, and user adoption across the enterprise. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Epic professional who enjoys leading teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving impactful healthcare technology solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support enterprise-wide Epic Research implementation initiatives from planning through go-live
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic Research workflows, configuration, optimization, and best practices
- Guide and mentor implementation team members while providing strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams to ensure successful system integration and adoption
- Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workflow design sessions, testing activities, and training efforts
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Support system optimization, issue resolution, change management, and end-user adoption activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare IT experience
- Additional Epic certifications in clinical, ambulatory, or ancillary applications
- 5+ years of Epic implementation experience within large healthcare environments
- Experience participating in multiple full lifecycle Epic implementations
- Current Epic Research certification required; additional Epic certifications are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and application configuration
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive project success
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and supporting testing and deployment activities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Clinical or healthcare operations background
- Experience leading large-scale EMR transformation projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
