Role: Senior Project Manager(PeopleSoft PUM & OCI Migration)
Location: New York, NY 10004(Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Job Type: Contract
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of IT/ERP project management experience and strong expertise in PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale PeopleSoft modernization and cloud transformation initiatives involving application, database, middleware, and cloud infrastructure teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft PUM & PeopleTools upgrade projects.
  • Manage PeopleSoft-to-OCI cloud migration, cutover, DR, security, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, governance, and resources.
  • Manage Oracle Consulting/system integrators and vendors, including deliverables and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across PeopleSoft, Oracle DB, WebLogic, networking, security, and cloud.
  • Lead executive steering committee meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive testing, production readiness, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of enterprise IT/ERP Project Management experience.
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft project delivery experience.
  • Proven experience managing PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades.
  • Hands-on project leadership experience with PeopleSoft migrations to OCI.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Architecture, PeopleTools, Change Assistant, Oracle DB, WebLogic, and Integration Broker.
  • Experience managing $5M+ projects, large teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong Agile/Hybrid, risk, budget, governance, and vendor management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP, OCI Certification, Agile/Scrum certification, and experience with HCM, FSCM, or ELM.
