Job Description

Enterprise Knowledge Management Lead

Location - Remote, USA
Shift - 2-4 Hours in a day flexible , 5 days a week , intially part-time can get converted to full time.
Duration - 1-2 Months contract  and possible extension 
 

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years engineering experience, with prior technical lead / senior developer experience.

  • Hands-on SPFx, React, Fluent UI, and Node.js/Azure Functions.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint/Microsoft 365 (Content Types, Term Store, Document Libraries) and Power Automate.
  • Comfortable leading an Agile team asynchronously / part-time, with strong written communication.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Conduct discovery workshops and define KM strategy and target architecture.
  • Assess and modernize SharePoint document libraries, metadata, and governance models.
  • Design enterprise search, taxonomy, metadata, content lifecycle, and knowledge governance frameworks.
  • Architect integrations with SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID/Okta, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and Power BI.
  • Design AI-ready knowledge solutions including semantic search, RAG, and content indexing.
  • Define security architecture including SSO, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, audit logging, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Evaluate open-source, custom-built, and COTS KM platforms and provide recommendations.
  • ID).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred

             Experience with large-scale KM implementations supporting 20,000+ users.
  • TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or security certifications.
  • Experience leading platform selection and migration programs.

Qualifications

            Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

7+ years of IT experience with 5+ years engineering experience, with prior technical lead / senior developer experience.
