Job Description

Job Summary

The Associate, Family Office supports accurate and timely financial administration and reporting for family office clients. This role manages day-to-day accounting activities and contributes to financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and liquidity reports that inform client planning and decision-making. The Associate works closely with client advisors and accountants to organize financial information, support tax preparation, and deliver reliable reporting. This opportunity provides experience across accounting, trust administration, entity management, and other essential family office services.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, issuing payments, maintaining vendor records, and reconciling bank accounts.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and account activity.

  • Support accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, credit card allocations, and intercompany transactions.

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual personal financial statements and provide client advisors with financial reports and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate with accountants to gather, organize, and provide the information needed for tax planning and tax return preparation.

  • Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and liquidity reporting to support client financial planning and decision-making.

  • Maintain organized client records, entity documentation, and reporting calendars to promote accurate and timely information delivery.

  • Support trust administration, entity management, and family office projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • One to three years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, family office services, wealth management, or a related professional services environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial recordkeeping.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.

  • Manages competing priorities, deadline-driven work, and multiple simultaneous projects effectively.

  • Collaborates effectively within a team while maintaining responsibility and accountability for individual work.
