• Fully remote, with occasional client site travel

Our client is a specialist technology organisation delivering innovative solutions across Defence and National Security. Working on complex, mission-critical programmes, they help customers develop future capabilities through experimentation, demonstration and advanced technical innovation.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Principal Solution Architect to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of Defence programmes.

THE PRINCIPAL SOLUTION ARCHITECT ROLE

As Principal Solution Architect, you will provide technical leadership across complex Defence experimentation and capability development programmes. You will define architecture strategy, lead technical governance, mentor Solution Architects and work closely with customers to deliver innovative, operationally relevant solutions.

You will also support business development, contribute to technical bids and help transition emerging technologies into operational capability.

PRINCIPAL SOLUTION ARCHITECT ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Significant Solution Architecture experience within Defence, National Security or Government
• Experience supporting MOD, NATO or multinational programmes
• Strong background leading architecture teams and technical governance
• Experience working within secure or classified environments
• Ability to engage with senior military, government and industry stakeholders
• Knowledge of Secure by Design principles, Defence Standard 05-138, ISO 27001 and the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework
• Experience supporting bids, customer engagement and business growth
