Location: Outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire
Salary: £28,000 £40,000 per annum

OFFICE BASED ROLE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing manufacturing business.

You'll be responsible for managing key customer accounts, building long-term relationships, identifying sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with internal teams, you'll oversee quotations, forecasts, order progress, and customer communications while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
• Build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Provide sales forecasts and monitor account performance.
• Maintain accurate customer information within the MRP system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customer issues.
• Attend customer meetings and support site visits when required.

About You

• Previous account management or customer-facing sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills.
• Experience within manufacturing or engineering is desirable.
• Confident using MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
