Firewall Rules Analyst/ Firewall Analyst/ Check-Point Rules Analyst - REMOTE

JOB DESCRIPTION

This person will look at rules, look at designs, make sure they are in compliance for north and south America and either reject or pass it along to the proper channel. They will NOT be making any changes themselves.

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess firewall/security requests.
• Perform cyber security reviews.
• Validate proposed network changes.
• Engage in project/security reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to identify risks and appropriate controls.

 

Required Experience:

• Bilingual Spanish and English
• Experience reviewing firewall requests and security controls rather than purely implementing them. Solid background in network security and firewall technologies.
• Checkpoint Firewall experience
• Ability to assess firewall rule requests, security risks within, port requirements, network access requirements

 

Soft skill requirements

• Strong technical network security knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Ability to explain technical risks to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Customer-facing and business-facing experience.

 

Desirable

• Proxy technology experience.
• Exposure to Fortinet and Cisco security technologies.
