Job Description

job summary:

Key Responsibilities


- Serve as the primary Level 1/Level 2 support contact for TPXL users across trading, scheduling, logistics, risk, settlements, accounting, and operations.


- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and data issues involving trade capture, pricing and valuation, positions, exposures, risk reporting, scheduling, inventory, settlements, invoicing, market data, curves, and deal lifecycle processing.


- Support traders, schedulers, marketers, operations personnel, and business analysts during market hours by assessing business impact, communicating status, providing workarounds, and restoring service quickly.


- Configure and maintain TPXL pricing setups, contracts, counterparties, books, portfolios, products, market data, curves, and other business reference data under established controls.


- Monitor daily business processes, trade interfaces, batch jobs, workflows, reports, reconciliations, and end-of-day or month-end activities; investigate failures and coordinate recovery.


- Analyze recurring incidents, identify root causes, document corrective and preventive actions, and recommend sustainable process or application improvements.


- Own incidents, service requests, and problem tickets through closure, maintaining accurate priorities, SLA tracking, escalation details, resolution notes, and user communications.


- Partner with business users, vendors, application development, and production support teams to resolve defects, test fixes, and implement minor enhancements and configuration changes.


- Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, support procedures, functional documentation, training materials, and shift handover notes.


- Provide user coaching and training on TPXL workflows, controls, and effective use of application functionality.

qualifications:

Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.


- Five or more years of experience in TPXL support, ETRM/CTRM application support, commodity operations, trading system business analysis, or trade-floor production support.


- Demonstrated experience supporting business-critical commodity trading processes and resolving functional, workflow, configuration, or data issues.


- Ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, developers, and production support teams and to manage multiple priorities within defined service levels.
