A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer based in or near Livingston is seeking an experienced Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering business developing advanced medical electronics for a next-generation robotic surgical system.<br />This Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer job offers the opportunity to work on a major new product development programme, contributing across the full hardware development lifecycle from analogue circuit design and hardware integration through to verification and product development. This Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer job is ideal for someone with strong analogue electronics experience, supported by RF or wireless knowledge, who enjoys working within multidisciplinary engineering teams on technically challenging, regulated products.<br />Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer Job Responsibilities

  • Design analogue electronic circuits for wired and wireless medical device products.
  • Support hardware development across the full product development lifecycle.
  • Liaise with third-party wireless specialists, translating technical requirements into hardware solutions.
  • Produce schematics, design documentation and technical reports.
  • Support hardware verification, validation and design review activities.
  • Work closely with hardware, software, mechanical and quality engineering teams.
  • Assist with RF and wireless integration activities where required.
  • Contribute to product development within a regulated engineering environment.
  • Support prototype development, testing and continuous product improvement.
  • Participate in engineering investigations and technical problem solving throughout the programme.<br />Senior Analogue/RF Design Engineer Job Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Analogue Engineer, Analogue Design Engineer, Mixed-Signal Engineer or RF Design Engineer position.
  • Strong commercial analogue electronics design experience.
  • Some RF or wireless design experience, or experience working alongside RF specialists.
  • Experience within a structured product development environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
