Job Title: Field Service Engineer, Linear Accelerator (LINAC)Location: Connecticut (Full-time, Permanent)
Salary: $115,000 to $155,000 plus Comprehensive Benefits and Relocation Assistance
About the Company:
A leading independent medical equipment service provider is expanding its oncology service team across Connecticut. The company supports healthcare facilities with reliable, high-quality service solutions that help keep critical radiation therapy systems operating safely and efficiently.
Role Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of Linear Accelerators at customer sites across Connecticut. This is a field-based role involving regular regional travel to hospitals and cancer centers. You will diagnose complex technical issues, complete accurate service documentation, and ensure system performance meets clinical and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
Strong background in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering
Proven experience servicing and repairing medical Linear Accelerators
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic software tools
Willingness to travel across Connecticut as required
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
