Requirements
  • 8 years or more of experience with SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 administration, governance, and enterprise modernization.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Admin Center, SharePoint Advanced Management, permissions, external sharing, and site governance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, records management, information protection, and audit.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, service principals, and least-privilege security.
  • Experience with PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Power Automate, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Modernize SharePoint Online governance covering site provisioning, ownership, permissions, retention, archival, and disposition.
  • Configure advanced SharePoint controls for access reviews, owner attestation, inactive sites, deletion, and governance reporting.
  • Implement Purview capabilities for data protection, sensitivity labeling, DLP, records management, retention, and auditing.
  • Remediate excessive permissions, external sharing, broken inheritance, guest access, broad groups, and ownerless sites.
  • Automate inventory, access analysis, notifications, remediation, and governance reporting using Microsoft platform technologies.
  • Assess Copilot and AI data exposure while producing dashboards, runbooks, standards, and operational documentation.
