IT Support Engineer

Mac IT Support Engineer – Cambridge Location: Cambridge – 5 days onsite<br />Start: ASAP We are looking for a Mac-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our customer's IT team in Cambridge on an initial 3-month contract. The environment is approximately 90% Mac / 10% Windows, so strong hands-on Mac/macOS support experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities Provide 1st/2nd line desktop support, primarily for Mac users<br />Manage and resolve tickets through the IT service desk<br />Provide face-to-face and walk-up support<br />Set up new users and hardware<br />Support onboarding and offboarding<br />Manage user access and general IT requests<br />Troubleshoot Mac hardware and software issues<br />Provide a professional, friendly service to users Essential Experience Strong Mac/macOS support experience<br />Previous Desktop Support / IT Support experience<br />Good troubleshooting skills<br />Excellent communication and people skills<br />Comfortable working onsite and dealing directly with users<br />Desirable:

Microsoft Entra ID, Cisco and MDM experience. The customer is open to someone junior/early in their career who is technically capable, keen to learn and has strong people skills.
