Job Description

Elevation HR are working exclusively with a leading business based in Tadcaster as they look to appoint a HR / People Partner on a full-time, permanent basis.


Reporting to the Senior People Partner, you’ll take ownership of partnering with a key business area, supporting and coaching managers to build their capability, while working strategically alongside the wider People team to deliver the people agenda.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner looking to take the next step in their career, broaden their commercial exposure and develop their partnering skills within a supportive and forward-thinking People team and be part of a cultural transformation. As a People Partner, you will be responsible for:


  • Manage complex employee relations cases, providing practical advice and guidance to managers.
  • Identify skills and capability gaps across the business and support the delivery of targeted development initiatives.
  • Work closely with Centres of Excellence to deliver key people initiatives and ensure best practice.
  • Review, update and improve HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and business needs.
  • Support and lead on wider HR projects, including improving the onboarding experience and reviewing pay structures.
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning, talent requirements, organisational change and the development of high-performing teams.
  • Review and improve HR policies, processes and people initiatives, using HR data and insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the wider people agenda, including learning and development, culture and change programmes, while coaching and influencing colleagues at all levels.


To be successful in this role as a People Partner, you’ll need to be:


  • Confident managing complex employee relations cases, providing clear and pragmatic advice to managers.
  • Experienced within a manufacturing, construction, logistics or similar blue-collar environment , with an understanding of the pace and challenges of an operational workforce.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence managers at all levels.
  • Be CIPD qualified or working towards this
