Job Description

Required Qualifications
  • 7 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 1 year in a senior/lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in modern programming languages. Expert proficiency in: C# and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including compute, storage, networking, and platform services
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps concepts (Terraform, Git Actions)
  • Demonstrated strength in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural guidance.
  • Strong background in secure development practices and vulnerability remediation (e.g., knowledge of OWASP Top 10, completion of Software Security Group s Application Security Champion)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and influence decisions across multiple workstreams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience with modern web frameworks/libraries such as Angular and React
  • Strong grasp of the REST architectural style and experience implementing REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API (preferred), Node.js, or Flask
  • Experience building data models and data access layers against either SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes to support deployment workflows (OpenShift, AKS)
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components (e.g., model endpoints, feature services, data pipelines)
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide end-to-end technical oversight of multiple AI development workstreams running in parallel.
  • Ensure consistent application of architectural principles, coding standards, testing practices, and security requirements.
  • Perform code reviews, design reviews, and technical validations to maintain quality and reduce delivery risk.
  • Guide teams on best practices for building scalable, maintainable cloud-ready applications, APIs, and deployments.
Collaboration Across Program
  • Partner with DevOps Engineers to ensure smooth CI/CD, environment promotion, and deployment strategies.
  • Work with Product and Program leadership to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Support Risk, Compliance, and Architecture teams with risk and vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and documentation.
Hands-On Development
  • Contribute to complex coding tasks when needed, especially for critical path items or architectural patterns.
  • Backfill basic or intermediate DevOps tasks during urgent or high-priority situations (e.g., pipeline fixes, environment triage).
  • Troubleshoot production or pre-production issues and lead root-cause analysis when involving code or design.
Quality, Security & Governance
  • Ensure secure coding practices, adherence to enterprise risk controls, and guidance during vulnerability assessments.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices for code quality and maintainability such as OOAD, SOLID principles, and automated testing
  • Validate that all workstreams follow consistent versioning, documentation, and branching strategies.
Ways of Working
  • Work within Agile Teams and methodologies (SCRUM, Standup, Scoring)
  • Participate possible daily, weekly standups and available for critical timings
