Automation Engineer Conveyor Systems & Field Installation

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support conveyor systems in manufacturing environments, including current production operations and new program launches and installations. The role involves supporting major installation activities, overseeing contractors, monitoring installation schedules, and providing on-call support for launch and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support conveyor systems for current production operations and new program launches and installations.
  • Provide engineering support during major installation windows.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure installation activities remain on schedule.
  • Provide launch support and ongoing conveyor support for current production as needed.
  • Support field installation activities involving conveyor systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or completion of a certification program.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, electrical wiring, mechanical engineering, and assembly lines.
  • Experience with manufacturing launch processes, GVOSS requirements, conveyor systems, and construction oversight and management.
  • Ability to support onsite engineering and installation activities.
