Network Engineer | Riverdale, MD, United States | Hybrid | $73,450.00 - $132,775.00

We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology solutions provider known for its innovation and commitment to national security. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on transforming critical IT infrastructure for a major government agency, working on a high-impact mission.

The Role

  • Plan and design secure network solutions for consolidating enterprise connectivity services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to discover legacy environments and assess current capabilities.
  • Design secure wide area connectivity solutions, including underlay and overlay networks.
  • Develop secure access solutions utilizing wired and wireless technologies.
  • Integrate capacity planning and scaling of network and security stack environments.
  • Identify network optimization strategies to meet capacity and performance standards.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience).
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • Active DoD IAT Level II (e.g., Security+) certification.
  • Experience documenting network designs using tools like Visio.
  • Proven experience with network troubleshooting and performing site surveys.
  • Broad exposure to LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, Proxies, Routing, and Firewalls.
  • Experience with at least two vendor network technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
