Job Description
Senior Associate - Corporate M&A & Capital Markets (Band 1) - Brisbane
Work in a collaborative, high performing environment advising on the most complex and largest transactions in energy, resources, and critical minerals.
Responsibilities include supporting M&A, joint ventures, critical minerals transactions, private and public M&A across the broader resources and energy sectors, project development and operations, and advising on contracts and regulatory arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience- Experience at a leading top tier, national or international firm or with a specialist energy and resources practice, with demonstrated experience in energy and resources transactions.
- Experience advising on oil and gas M&A and/or joint ventures is highly regarded.
- Strong generalist corporate M&A capability across public and private transactions.
- Ability to manage matters and lead junior team members.
- Willingness to participate in business development activities and build a profile in the resources sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build lasting client relationships.
- Desire to grow as both a lawyer and a leader.
- Permanent, full time position.
- Hybrid working - 60% in the office, with flexibility available.
