Business Intelligence Analyst - Phoenix, AZ Local Candidates Only: Must specify current location on resume

Pay Rate: Starts at $45/Hr. + Excellent SoAZ benefits M-F, 8A-4P On-Site. (Possible Hybrid) Duties/Responsibilities • Create and maintain reports & dashboards, delivering clear, actionable visualizations. • Analyze data-identify trends, generate meaningful business insights using BI tools (SQL, MS Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI). • Write, execute, and analyze SQL queries; design ad-hoc and standard SSRS reports. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business needs and enhance reporting workflows. • Ensure data accuracy, synthesize findings, and propose data-driven solutions. • Develop & maintain applications/automation scripts using Visual Basic (VB). • Troubleshoot BI tool performance; optimize usability. • Organize, classify, and interpret data; communicate logical outcomes and insights. • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and data analysis. • Understanding of software development life cycle, RDBMS, and MS Office/Google Suite. • Effective organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in high-pressure situations. • Demonstrated success working with confidential/sensitive data.

Preferred Experience/Certifications • Visual Basic (VB) skills. • strong analytical thinking, data mining, and clear reporting. • Experience creating automation scripts and streamlining reporting tasks. • Interest or knowledge in AI tools and new technologies. • Experience supporting government, public sector, fiscal oversight, or cross-functional teams.
