Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java & Angular)

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java & Angular) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an expert Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain high-scale, resilient enterprise systems using Java and Angular. In this role, you will lead the development of modern web architectures, crafting responsive, high-performance user interfaces while architecting robust, microservices-based backends. You will work at the intersection of reactive frontend patterns and high-throughput backend processing to deliver a seamless, integrated digital experience.

Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Architect and build enterprise-grade web applications using Angular 21, TypeScript, and modern styling frameworks. Utilize advanced Angular features including Signals, standalone components, and efficient change detection strategies
• Backend Development: Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable backend services using Java (JDK 21+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security)
• API Design & Integration: Design and maintain clean, performant RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures. Manage data exchange between complex frontend state and backend persistence layers
• Architectural Excellence: Implement modern reactive patterns, such as RxJS for asynchronous data flow and Angular Signals for optimized UI state management, ensuring applications are both performant and maintainable
• Quality & Performance: Enforce rigorous engineering standards through automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (using tools like JUnit 5, Mockito, and Vitest/Playwright)
• DevOps & Cloud: Collaborate on containerization (Docker) and deployment strategies within CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless delivery into cloud-native (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) environments

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a focus on enterprise-grade systems
• Advanced proficiency in Angular (latest versions through 21) and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of component-based architecture, dependency injection, and state management via Angular Signals
• Mastery of Java 21 and the Spring Boot framework
• Experience with microservices architecture, JPA/Hibernate, and database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like Redis or MongoDB)
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD, Git workflows, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Commitment to writing clean, modular, and testable code with a focus on web performance and accessibility

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
