You'll be supporting the technical, cost, and schedule goals of each project, ensuring that we're always on track to deliver exceptional results.As you build your knowledge and expertise around Shipbuilding and our amazing equipment, you'll have the opportunity to run small to medium-sized projects, putting your skills to the test and making a real impact on our operations.Core Duties:Support the Project Manager with planning and delivery of straight forward to complex projectsHands on, actively engage stakeholders, drive projects to a successful conclusionSupport Trade Managers in key enablement projects, which are in line with the Trade Unit Business PlanDefine project goals and objectives, develop project plans and timelinesIdentify project risks and develop risk management plansManage project budgets and tracking project expensesAssist in project resources, including personnel and equipmentCommunicate project status to stakeholders and team membersEssential Skills:Demonstrated experience in Project Management ideally from a production or trades environment, or studying towards a Diploma in Project ManagementAbility to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverablesWillingness to learn, give everything a go and ask lots of questions to expand your knowledgeCapability to identify and solve complex problems, think critically and innovateEligibility to obtain NV1 Defence security clearanceThe Hunter Class Frigate Program:BAE Systems Australia is leading the largest ever surface ship project in Australia's defence history - the design and build of Hunter class frigates.The Hunter Class Frigate Program is transforming Australia's shipbuilding industry by supporting the building of a world-class, continuous naval shipbuilding capability for our nation.Here you'll build a career with purpose and limitless possibilities.
