Job Title: C# .NET Full Stack Engineer (AI/LLM)
Location: Canada (Candidates must be currently based in Canada)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced C# .NET Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in modern backend and frontend development, cloud technologies, and AI-powered application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications using C#/.NET, Azure, Next.js, and React, along with practical experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic into production applications.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications while building intelligent AI-driven solutions that leverage modern architectural patterns and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C#/.NET and modern software architecture principles.
  • Build responsive and high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.js.
  • Integrate AI/LLM services such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic into enterprise applications.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows including document processing, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, streaming responses, and human-in-the-loop solutions.
  • Design and develop REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing services.
  • Build event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
  • Design and optimize document-based data models using Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to improve development productivity.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
  • Strong frontend development experience with Next.js and React.js.
  • Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI concepts such as prompt engineering, streaming responses, RAG, document processing, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
  • Experience designing and optimizing Cosmos DB or other document-oriented NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud-native application architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI-enabled enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Clean Architecture and modern .NET development practices.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud deployment best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
