Job Description

Job Title – LSR OnBase Engineer

Job Location Fully Remote

Duration - 6 Months+

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities: Engineers work in different areas of SAIF’s eco system. Engineers could develop integration components that interact directly with the Filevine and OnBase applications. 

 
Engineers execute the following activities:  

    • Estimate effort required for each development task, including new development, modifying existing applications, and creating integration points  
    • Develop in accordance with overall integration architecture defined by Solution Architect and Lead Engineer. 
    • Design and code integration components including plug-ins, messaging (and supporting business rules), and programs that call the Filevine application APIs or Business Online APIs.  
    • Set up and create unit tests that step through functionality and test their own coded functionality.  
    • Resolve defects immediately when found during unit testing  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: Engineers will receive training on Filevine application as part of the implementation project, but the ideal resource for this role will already possess the following application integration experience and certification:  

    • Prior OnBase developer experience 
    • Prior OnBase Capture Process Designer developer experience. 
    • 10+ years programming experience with C#, Visual Basic, and other C-family languages.  
    • 5+ years experience with other modern technologies such as SQL, XML, and scripting languages  
    • Familiarity with leveraging modern integrated development environments (IDE)  
    • 5+ years experience with integration development, including but not limited to APIs, webhooks, secure file transfer protocols, etc.  
    • 5+ years experience with API development, and understanding of OpenAPI, Swagger, and JSON  
    • Ability to work as a team in a collaborative and cross functional manner, accommodating work in multiple workstreams

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is generally performed within an office or home office environment. The working environment is generally favorable, with no exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, or other factors.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Stand or sit at a work station for the majority of each shift.
    • Communicate with others. Typically through the use of speaking and hearing
    • Use of a computer to enter and screen data.

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Full time, Monday through Friday (8-5 PST)
    • Contract duration - 3-year project.
