Job Role of the Field Service Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a market-leading engineering business providing service, maintenance, and technical support to customers across the South East. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, servicing, and installations on a range of industrial equipment at customer sites. You will act as the face of the business, delivering exceptional technical support while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Sector – Field Service Engineering
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer- Previous experience carrying out maintenance within an industrial engineering environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience with both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Multi-skilled engineering background with electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
- Experience maintaining industrial machinery or automated equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer.
- Experience with PLC fault finding using inputs and outputs.
- Experience working on manufacturing, production, packaging, or process machinery.
- Working for a recognised market-leading engineering business.
- Company vehicle, fuel card, and all specialist tools provided.
