Summary: • Develop web-based applications for automated data management. • Extract meaning and value from structured and unstructured data using statistical methods and machine learning. • Analyze and develop requirements for data characterization and ingestion. • Lead multiple software development teams and ensure software quality. • Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases. • Leverage expertise in Java, NiFi, Python, Scala, Pig, Map Reduce, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch. Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 20+ years • Total Compensation: $325k+ yearly Job Description: • Devise strategies to extract meaning and value from structured and unstructured data using statistical methods and machine learning. • Develop new methodologies and techniques for automated data characterization and analyze requirements for data ingestion. • Serve as a technical lead for multiple software development teams, recommending new technologies and ensuring quality contr ol. • Develop and optimize data queries for various databases and data repositories. • Collaborate with teams to understand mission needs and define software development processes. • Utilize expertise in Java, Python, Scala, NiFi, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch. • Apply knowledge of big data processing frameworks including Pig, MapReduce, Apache Spark, and Hadoop. • Work with data enrichment/conversion methods, ontologies/schemas, and structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON). • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, data mining, and network metadata analysis. • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
