Project Manager

Our client, an established specialist contractor, is seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to deliver a civils and groundworks project in Worksop. This is a confidential appointment. Further information about the company and project will be provided to suitable candidates.

Worksop<br />Contract: 3-6 months<br />Day rate: £400-£450, dependent on experienceResponsibilities of Project Manager / Contract Manager / Site Manager Manage the project from mobilisation through to completion and handover<br />Oversee bulk earthworks, cut-and-fill, drainage and ground preparation<br />Coordinate groundworkers, subcontractors, site engineers, plant and materials<br />Manage site levels, formations, excavations and drainage installations<br />Develop and maintain the construction programme<br />Review drawings, specifications, RAMS and quality documentation<br />Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to specification<br />Monitor progress, costs, variations, delays and operational risks<br />Lead site meetings and provide progress reports<br />Manage testing, snagging, as-built records and final handoverCandidate requirements of Project Manager / Site Manager Extensive civils, earthworks and groundworks experience<br />Proven ability to manage projects from cradle to grave<br />Strong knowledge of drainage, ground preparation and plant-led operations<br />Previous experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager or senior Site Manager<br />Strong health-and-safety, commercial and client-management skills<br />Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications<br />Full UK driving licenceExperience in sports facilities, large external works, landscaping or specialist drainage would be advantageous.
