At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining an international automotive company. If so, our client is hiring a Power BI Developer.

Position Type:
  • Contract
  • Onsite (Work onsite at Sandy Springs office)
Required
  • University degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways.
  • Should be experienced and familiar with other Business Intelligence analytical tools, such as SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
  • Should have basic knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
  • highly skilled IT professional to lead all facets of system development within Power BI.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the implementation of information technology projects for the IT Portfolio Management Office. Project responsibilities include plans, resource planning, technical leadership, systems integration and technical architecture.
  • Operational support responsibilities include managing work assignments and deliverables towards the development of Power BI reports.
  • Provide enhancements to the reports and resolution of defects.
  • Position reports to directly to the IT Department Manager for the Portfolio Management Office .
  • Duties and Responsibilities
    • Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting.
    • Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies.
    • Develop Power BI reports and analyses with direction from other senior members on the team.
    • Present findings to leads using visual story telling.
    • Practice safety-conscious behaviours in all operational processes and procedures.
    • Have a team first attitude with the success of our team and business partners as their top priority.
    • Be intellectually curious, ask questions and speak up when they have an idea.
    • Be independent workers who look for problems to solve and then come up with innovative ideas.
    • Work independently without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates or stakeholders.
  • Compliance and information security

    • Be compliant with IT controls for the required products.
    •  Ensure planning, implementation, and appropriate controls in place to meet information security requirements and tasks.
    • Provide constructive ideas and suggestions to Product Owners and Managers.
    • May be required to perform other duties as assigned
