Help her grow great moments-one visit at a time!

We're seeking a friendly social volunteer to enjoy weekly one hour visits with a lovely lady who would appreciate a helping hand in the garden and enjoys a variety of creative and relaxing hobbies.

She loves painting, fishing, knitting, and reading, and would enjoy sharing these interests-or simply having a chat-during your visits. Whether you're pottering in the garden together or enjoying a quiet moment indoors, your company will make a meaningful difference.

If you enjoy lending a hand, sharing hobbies, and brightening someone's week, we'd love to hear from you-this could be the most rewarding hour of your week.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
