Member of Commercial Staff

About the Role

This is a generalist commercial role at a fast-moving, pre-seed energy tech startup building full-stack electricity retail infrastructure for European households. You'll work closely with the founding team in Berlin to create durable systems across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management — the commercial backbone that enables growth and customer trust in a regulated industry.

What You'll Do

• Tackle varied commercial challenges across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management as the business scales.

• Own problems end-to-end — from scoping through execution — and deliver high-quality work you're proud of.

• Adapt scope and priorities fluidly as the business evolves and new challenges emerge.

• Help shape operating practices and processes alongside your core day-to-day responsibilities.

• Contribute to a culture of effective communication, ownership, and craftsmanship in an in-person Berlin environment.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of proven performance in a high-performance environment — such as a high-growth startup, consulting, investment banking, professional sports, or high-end hospitality.

• Versatile background in banking, legal, operations, partnerships, or another domain that adds direct commercial leverage.

• Rapid learner who can go from novice to effective within days by talking to experts, thinking from first principles, and executing with conviction.

• Strong interpersonal style: kind and engaging, but comfortable pushing for results when necessary.

• Proactive owner who notices and fixes broken processes without waiting for permission.

• German fluency at C1 level or above is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €75,000 – €100,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

On-site in Berlin (Mitte), Germany. This is a fully in-person role.
