Apex Systems is hiring a Power Platform Developer for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the US.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Application Development Engineer with a focus on Power Platform development. This role is central to our organization's effort to modernize portfolio management capabilities by transitioning from Smartsheet to the Microsoft Power Platform. The successful candidate will provide dedicated technical leadership to accelerate delivery, build sustainable solutions, and drive the development of innovative applications that automate business functions and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of the Hiring Tracker and Procurement Tracker from Smartsheet to the Microsoft Power Platform, improving automation, reporting, and governance.
• Perform ongoing administration, enhancement, and support of the EEO Dashboard to ensure reporting accuracy and system reliability.
• Turn business requirements into scalable solutions by designing and developing Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership by managing deployments, supporting platform governance, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members.
• Improve reporting, analytics, and executive visibility through enhanced Power BI dashboards and integrated data solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand process challenges and identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) is required.

Experience:

• 7+ years of application development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Power Platform development.
• Experience serving as a technical lead or solution architect on enterprise-scale implementations.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams integration.
• Knowledge of solution deployment pipelines and environment governance.
• Strong knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), security models, and platform governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
