Local Minesite Security Officer - Kalgoorlie, WA

Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Full Time Position - Permanent

Potential earnings up to $100,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Permanent full-time positions
• 7 days on / 7 days off roster
• Previous experience in a similar role essential
• Highly safety and security focused, with ability to think on the go
• 5 weeks annual leave
• Above award salary of $100,000
• Monitoring site activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences
• Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Exceptional reporting skills
• High level of personal presentation and conduct
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to comply with all policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a security guard in a similar role
• Current and valid WA security licence
• Current and valid WA "C" Class driver's licence
• Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
• Ability to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time
• Excellent and proven computer and administrative skills
• Full, unlimited right to work in Australia
• Must be able to pass pre employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Commitment to work day and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts
• Local resident of the Kalgoorlie/Boulder district only
