Job Description

Geoenvironmental Engineer

Central London£32,000 - £40,000

Are you a Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a well-established consultancy? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team based in Central London, working on a wide range of contaminated land, ground investigation and brownfield redevelopment projects across the UK.

You'll work alongside experienced geoenvironmental and geotechnical engineers, gaining exposure to technically challenging projects from initial site investigation through to remediation and development.

The Role
  • Designing and supervising ground investigations.
  • Soil and groundwater sampling and environmental monitoring.
  • Logging soil and rock in accordance with current industry standards.
  • Preparing Phase I and Phase II Geoenvironmental Reports.
  • Producing factual and interpretative reports.
  • Carrying out contaminated land and groundwater risk assessments.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators throughout project delivery.
  • Supporting projects from tender stage through to completion.
Requirements
  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.
  • Around 2-5 years' experience within a geoenvironmental consultancy.
  • Experience supervising site investigations and logging soils and rock.
  • Knowledge of contaminated land assessments and current UK guidance.
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
