Mid-Level Java Software Engineer [$224k/yr+] S with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.

Summary: • Design and develop Java-based software capabilities while integrating agentic AI workflows into daily engineering routines. • Utilize modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies including Spring, RESTful web services, Git, Maven, Nexus, Linux, and Agile. • Work with cloud and database technologies such as AWS, Azure, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.

Qualifications && Compensation: • At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Li braries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. • Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly Job Description: • Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities for enterprise systems. • Integrate advanced AI agents and agentic workflows into daily software engineering processes. • Leverage autonomous agents for multi-file feature implementations, complex codebase refactoring, and automated test generation. • Develop RESTful web services, microservices, and enterprise APIs adhering to object-oriented programming paradigms. • Utilize configuration management and build tools including Git, Maven, and Nexus within a Linux command-line environment. • Collaborate within an Agile software development lifecycle using standard tool suites such as JIRA and Confluence.

Telework: This position supports a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least two days per week on-site.
