About the Role

We're working with a leading consulting organisation seeking an experienced Managing Director to support the continued growth of its Public Sector business.

This senior leadership role combines business development, client leadership and delivery oversight. You'll work closely with public sector organisations, helping them navigate complex transformation challenges while driving growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the development and expansion of major public sector client accounts.
• Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive teams.
• Driving new business opportunities and expanding existing engagements.
• Providing oversight across large-scale consulting and transformation programmes.
• Managing commercial performance, delivery governance and profitability.
• Supporting account strategy development and long-term growth plans.
• Leading and mentoring high-performing consulting teams.

What We're Looking For

• Significant consulting or professional services experience.
• Strong track record of business development within the Public Sector.
• Experience managing large client portfolios and strategic accounts.
• Proven ability to lead complex transformation programmes.
• Strong commercial and operational leadership skills.
• Established network across government and public sector organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
