Division 5 Miscellaneous Metals Construction Estimator & Business Development

Job Summary:
Estimate, bid, and win Division 5 miscellaneous metals and structural steel projects while building strong relationships with contractors, developers, and commercial customers in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate and bid miscellaneous metals and structural steel projects
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Perform takeoffs and prepare competitive bids
• Develop relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and developers
• Generate new business and grow existing accounts
• Negotiate pricing and close projects
• Work with Engineering and Production to ensure successful project execution
• Visit customers and jobsites throughout Southern California

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of estimating and selling Division 5 miscellaneous metals or structural steel
• Proven track record of winning projects
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, takeoffs, and fabrication
• Existing Southern California contractor relationships preferred
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable developing a book of business
